RIP GeoCities!

GeoCities, the original home of the Unofficial Tim Allen Fan Zone, is closing its digital doors for good this month. A tragic, tragic loss for the entire internet community.

GeoCities-- the ultimate forum for personal expression -- weened most of us in our early days of chat-room using, personal homepage building, blinking internet using.

Well I suppose it's best that we moved off of Geocities' servers when we did. But still, it's hard not to feel like a little piece of my heart is disappearing with Geocities. Despite the numerous homes the Tim Allen Fan Zone has had over the years, Geocities was our first home, and we will always fondly remember it as such.

Hey folks-

My name is Bill Raleigh. Ben and Andrew (the creators of TimAllenZone.ORG) have asked me to start a BLOG FOR THEIR FANTASTIC TIM ALLEN SITE!!!!!

I know. It's really exciting. Well that's exactly what I intend to do.

Critics say that Tim Allen doesn't translate into the 21st century. !!! Even though Wild Hogs 2 (in production) is in the process of proving those snobby naysayers wrong, I'm going to do it too!

Only a true superstar with commanding presence could have a KILLER website, a Twitter feed, and a Facebook page. And that's exactly what Tim Allen has. THANKS TO ME. j/k.

But seriously..

Ben and Andrew have spent twelve long years building and maintaining The Unofficial Tim Allen Fan Zone, and it's my job to do them justice, and tastefully augment the abundant content they've already provided on their fantastic site. But I need YOUR help, Tim Allen Fans!
